Campus Groningen: Innovation engine of the Northern Netherlands

Campus Groningen is the centre for innovation, research and business activity in the Northern Netherlands. The campus is divided between two locations: the Zernike Campus located north of the city, and the Healthy Ageing Campus, located near the UMCG in the city centre. Since the inception of Campus Groningen, more than 250 organisations have established themselves on one of these two campuses. This makes Campus Groningen one of the fastest-growing campuses in the Netherlands.

Healthy Ageing Campus

The Healthy Ageing Campus focuses on the theme of Healthy Ageing. Among others, the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) can be found on this campus. It is also home to organisations working in Food & (e-)Health, Biomedical Technology and Pharma. The campus is an inspiring ecosystem where researchers and entrepreneurs collaborate with governments on innovations.

Zernike Campus

The Zernike Campus is home to around 150 organisations with a focus on energy, chemistry, life sciences and big data. More than 4,000 researchers and employees and several hundred entrepreneurs work on this part of the campus. In addition, some 35,000 students attend their lectures at the University of Groningen and Hanzehogeschool Groningen.

Met het huren van laboratorium- of kantoorruimte in Plus Ultra Groningen krijg je meer dan alleen ruimte om je organisatie te runnen. Huurders krijgen ook toegang tot verschillende gedeelde faciliteiten en onze Kadans Community. Deze gedeelde faciliteiten, zoals receptie, restaurant en vergaderzalen zijn centraal gepositioneerd. Zo creëren we een open gemeenschap met het atrium als verbindend element voor alle gebruikers van het gebouw. Voor vragen kun je altijd terecht bij onze on-site technisch en facilitair manager. Daarnaast ondersteunen we ook de groei van onze huurders met behulp van onze services en partners. Zo bieden we toegang tot talent, onderzoek en kapitaal binnen onze lokale gemeenschappen, allemaal met behulp van ons globale netwerk.We hanteren een proactieve benadering bij het opbouwen van onze community. Wij geloven namelijk dat de sleutel tot succes ligt in het creëren van een netwerk van mensen met gezamenlijke doelen en ambities.
