The High Tech Systems Center is moving in the Meulensteen House of Robotics of Kadans Science Partner. Both have recently signed the lease agreement. HTSC will start working in the building immediately. Meulensteen House of Robotics is located on the east side of the TU/e Campus, where the business community is located.
The High Tech Systems Center (HTSC) of Eindhoven University of Technology groups its research activities in the domain of complex high tech mechatronic systems into a one top level research center. By combining the expertise from especially four departments: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Sciences and Applied Physics, the HTSC addresses the complexity problem of future high tech systems design. They do this in a multi-disciplinary way, with strong emphasis on System Engineering. HTSC performs fundamental research and design of new concepts and prototypes, and makes the translation into the needs of the industry. Over 150 T-shaped engineers (80% PhD candidates, 20% PDEng trainees) are related to the HTSC.
The ecosystem of the TU/e Campus and the multi-tenant building stimulates knowledge-sharing and collaboration with other high-tech companies, faculties and students, accelerating the implementation of innovations. Meulensteen House of Robotics was officially reopened in September 2019 after a complete transformation. The environment makes it ideal for start-ups as well as organizations that have a link and would like to collaborate with the TU/e and related companies.
Kadans Science Partner is happy to welcome High Tech System Center. Kadans currently owns three buildings on the TU/e Campus, where she provides accommodation for various knowledge-intensive companies and institutions. Kadans stimulates the ecosystem with various additional services, such as organization of events and making connections between companies and other stakeholders.
